We have a plan to grow the business further and have some great changes taking place. These will benefit our guests and the team within.

As change happens, we now have two great positions that have arose for candidates with the skillsets to apply:

Head Chef – £26-£28,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

Working 45+ hours per week
20 days holiday plus 8 days off in lieu (fitting around the business needs)
Company discount and daily staff meal.

You must be:
Team spirited and warm in nature. Have the ability to foresee the market and plan accordingly.
Know how to spec. and cost menu dishes and plan specials.
Understand good stock keeping and portion control.
Have exceptional cheffing skills with experience in managing a team.
Preferably, be NVQ level 3 certified, or equivalent. Experience will be evaluated.
Understanding of HASSP’s and Food Safety; including recording of temperatures and dates etc.
Have a ‘can do’ attitude with a real TEAM approach.
Having a knowledge of vegan food would be useful to put you ahead of the game but is not essential. However the ability to deliver is!
Working with a dedicated team in the heart of the city (opposite the Mailbox)

Senior Supervisor/Duty Manager – starting salary £19,000 per annum (plus bonus share)

Working approx 42+ hours per week.
20 days holiday plus 8 days off in lieu (fitting around the business needs)

Management bonus scheme

You must be:
Experienced in restaurant and bar supervisory with a good knowledge of food and drink.
Have good people skills and a warm and natural energy. A ‘can do’ attitude and a TEAM player!
Have impeccable hygiene skills and a knowledge of basic food hygiene.
Good cash controls and basic maths as well as simple office systems such as Excel, Word and Email.
A creative vision to help grow the business into something special with the entire team.
A smart and professional approach and a good time-keeper.
This is a hands on role and will suit a person who enjoys customer and staff interaction and maybe vegan food!
Working in the city centre opposite the Mailbox.
